T-REX takes thirty-two dishes off its menu and adds seventeen

The dinosaur restaurant at Disney Springs Marketplace has changed forty-nine rows. Seventeen are new, from a spinach dip to a hot honey salmon plate, and thirty-two have gone. The rest of the menu is unchanged.

The biggest change is in the middle of the menu. The Caesar-saurus Salad, the Omnivore's Delight and the Prehistoric Pasta lost their chicken, shrimp and salmon versions, and every Grain Bowl has come off. A House Salad at $10.29 and a Protein Pasta Primavera at $23.49 are new.

Seafood turned over too. The Sunset Isle Salmon, the Tar Pit Fried Shrimp and the Crustacean Trio are gone. In their place are a Volcano Shrimp Bowl at $28.99 and a Hot Honey Salmon with Coconut Shrimp at $37.99.

Two burgers, the meatloaf and the chicken fried chicken have also left. The bar swapped three cocktails for three new ones, and two lemonades joined the frozen drinks.

Lunch and dinner carry the same changes.

If you're avoiding something

Dexter's Dip. A cheesy spinach dip with pita and tortilla chips, so wheat and dairy are both in it. Disney has not published allergy details for it, or for any of the other new dishes here.

The Coleslaw. It was listed without gluten and wheat, milk, fish and shellfish, nuts and sesame, and it has come off. No new side carries a listing like that.

The Garden Appetizer. Hummus, tzatziki, feta and pita. Vegetarian, and it carries wheat, dairy and chickpeas.

The pastas. The new Protein Pasta Primavera is vegetarian and made with cottage cheese, so it is not dairy-free. Chicken, shrimp, salmon or sirloin can be added to any pasta for an extra charge.
