Sommerfest adds an onion cake and a pretzel cold brew for Food & Wine

The German quick-service counter at Epcot has five new items. Two are festival specials, a Zwiebelkuchen and a Cinnamon Pretzel Cold Brew, and three are bottled sodas.

The Zwiebelkuchen is $9.79, a German onion cake with caramelized onions, bacon, herbs and a savory custard. The Cinnamon Pretzel Cold Brew is $6.49 and non-alcoholic.

Bottled Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Sprite joined the drinks list at $5.50 each. Nothing came off.

If you're avoiding something

The Zwiebelkuchen. Disney lists it without sesame, on request only. Onion, bacon, egg custard and a pastry base, so it has wheat, egg, pork and dairy, and it is not one for low-FODMAP.

The cold brew. Sweet cream and pretzel pieces, so dairy and wheat are both in the cup. Vegetarian.
