Magic Kingdom's Plaza Restaurant has added a Halloween section: a skull-shaped meatloaf, a black-bun chicken sandwich, a pecan-caramel cheesecake and a spiced rum cocktail. A plant-based sorbet joins the dessert list too.
The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A. has added a Halloween Offerings section to its lunch and dinner menus. There is also a new sorbet on the regular dessert list.
A few of the usual desserts and entrées are missing from Disney's menu this week. That is normal when a seasonal menu arrives, and they almost always come back afterwards. They are still listed here, and we will look again once Halloween is over.
The sorbet. This is the pick if you are avoiding a lot. Disney's allergy-friendly menu lists it as free from all seven allergens, and calls it plant-based. The flavour changes from day to day, so ask your server what today's one is before you order.
The skull meatloaf. This one is not low-FODMAP. Onion is mixed through a meatloaf rather than served next to it, so there is no change you can ask for that takes it out.
Goblins and Ghoulies. The cocktail is spiced rum and amaretto with apple cider and pomegranate juice. That is a sweet drink, so it does not suit low-carb, keto or paleo.
The cheesecake. The Phantom Pecan-Caramel Cheesecake has a wheat crust, dairy and pecans.
