The Grand Floridian's waterfront restaurant has two new desserts. An Apple Galette with brown butter ice cream is $15 and a plant-based Chocolate-Hazelnut Crème Brûlée is $16. The coconut cream tart and the sourdough bread pudding have gone.
The kids' dessert changed too. A Nemo Brownie Bar replaces Bruce's Raspberry Sorbet on the create-your-own list.
On the featured pours, Kurt Russell's GoGi Wines Goldie Chardonnay takes the place of the Silver Oak Cabernet.
The Chocolate-Hazelnut Crème Brûlée. Plant-based, and Disney lists it without gluten and wheat, egg, fish and shellfish, milk, sesame and soy. Hazelnuts are the point of it, so it is not nut-free.
The Apple Galette. Pastry, brown butter ice cream and a port wine caramel, so wheat, dairy and alcohol in the sauce. Disney lists it without fish and shellfish, nuts and sesame.
The kids' sorbet. Bruce's Raspberry Sorbet was listed free of all seven allergens. The brownie bar that replaces it is listed without fish and shellfish, nuts and sesame only, so a child avoiding dairy, egg or wheat has lost their dessert here.
