Grand Floridian Cafe drops four brunch dishes and twenty-three drinks

The cafe at Disney's Grand Floridian has cut 27 items. Four are brunch plates, including the eggs Benedict and the stuffed French toast. The rest are beers, wines, cocktails and lemonades.

Brunch lost the Floridian-style Eggs Benedict, the Breakfast Sandwich, the Tofu Power Bowl and the Passion Fruit, Guava, and Orange French Toast. Nothing has replaced them yet.

The drink list is where most of the cuts landed. Ten beers, four wines and five cocktails have gone, along with the pomegranate limeade, the watermelon lemonade and the Royal Berry Spritzer.

Three drinks are new: a pomegranate green tea called So Many Wishes at $6.79, a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA and a Figuière rosé from Provence.

If you're avoiding something

The eggs Benedict. It was listed without gluten and wheat, because it sat on corn cakes rather than an English muffin. With it gone, ask your server what the kitchen can do at brunch.

The Tofu Power Bowl. It was listed without egg, milk, fish and shellfish, and nuts, and it was the plant-based choice at brunch. Nothing on the current menu takes its place.

So Many Wishes. Pomegranate green tea with hibiscus and lemon. No dairy and no nuts in the description, but Disney has not published allergy details for it.
